the second ingredient is hydrochloric acid, commercially known as muriatic acid, also ultra corrosive!
now, the recipe:
Dissolve soda in water (measured accurately the weight of soda before you put it in water), then add about 90 ml of hydrochloric acid for every 10 grams of soda dissolved in water.
at this point put the container in a place where you can evaporate all the water and when there will not be more on the bottom of your container with a layer of pure salt!
now I explain why two dangerous substances give a completely harmless substance if mixed:
the chemical formula of soda is NaOH, the acid is HCl and the salt is NaCl.

NaCl is the salt, H2O is water, so that eventually evaporates.
